PD360 to Feature NCCS Teachers

pd360We are thrilled to announce that there will be many familiar faces on PD 360 soon.  This paid, online professional development platform sent a film crew into 20 NCCS classrooms to record their outstanding common core teaching. If selected to be produced, these videos will be edited and housed on their international platform for all subscribers to view. We are so excited that the following videos were announced to be released in February:

There will be more NCCS videos released on PD 360 in the future. Please congratulate these teachers.  It was a lot of work to prepare, write and execute the model lesson.  We know how wonderful these teachers are…now the 850,000 teachers that subscribe to PD360 can also see!

About Cindy Geddes

Cindy Geddes serves as the Director of Accountability and Technology Services for Newton-Conover City Schools. Previously, she served as the district's Instructional Technology/ Staff Development Coordinator and as an elementary teacher for thirteen years. Mrs. Geddes was recently renewed as a National Board Certified teacher. She is a co-founder of #NCed chat, North Carolina’s first Twitter chat for teachers. Mrs. Geddes co-authored an article, “Growing Technology Leaders”, that was featured in the magazine, Learning and Leading with Technology. Recently, she received a Master of Arts from Gardner-Webb University in Executive Leadership Studies. She and her husband, Leonard are proud parents of two children, Cassidy and Brandon.
