One of the sessions at NCTIES was titled, Organizing your Digital Life: The Personality Test. This class helped participants find the digital tools that best fit their personality. Bethany Smith and Kerri Parker from NC State University created a personality quiz that helps determine which tech tools will best fit your search needs on the web. The quiz determines if you like things organized or not organized. It also takes into account if you like items visually presented or not. When you complete the quiz it will tell what kind of “searcher” you are on the web. Then you can choose from their chart which web tools best fit your needs. Under each tool, they have the basics of how to use it, tips and top people to follow using that specific tool. This was a great session. Check out their website to take the quiz and find tech tools that fit your personality: http://ncsucedmetrc.weebly.com/digital-personality-test.html.
