Bird House ‘Re-tweets’ Cause a Desire to Compete!

NCHS bird houseNewton-Conover High School art students, teachers, and clubs are participating in a competition in which they are building and painting custom bird houses for a bird house auction on November 6th. This auction, known as Nests for Knowledge, is being hosted by the Newton-Conover Education Foundation, in order to raise money for student scholarships and teacher grants.

All of the clubs throughout N-CHS were required to create products which would provide bidders with a wide variety of colors, shapes, functions, and styles to choose from. Students who wished to participate entered their bird houses for a chance to win the grand prize of either a 4 day cruise or a cash payout of $1,500.
