Celebrating the 100th Day of School

ThIMG_8679e 100th day of school is a very special day!  Students around our district celebrate the 100th day of school by doing various activities related to the number 100.  The students are actively involved with hands-on activities where they develop graphs using cereal, count to 100 with various objects, and create hats to represent the number 100.  The teachers challenge the students to utilize their own creativity while participating in these activities.

At North IMG_8123Newton, Mr. Whitener visited the classrooms to celebrate the 100th day of school by reading to the students.  The students were intrigued by the guest reader! Check out the photo on this page!  Maybe his grandmother showed up to read instead of him.
