Chief Academic Officer Recognized for State Middle School Award

ncmleOn Tuesday, March 17th, Newton-Conover City Schools’ Chief Academic Officer, Heather Mullins, received the 2015 North Carolina Association for Middle Level Education’s Central Region Central Office Administrator to Watch Award.  She was recognized at the North Carolina Association for Middle Level Education’s 40th Annual Conference, held March 15-17, 2015 at the Koury Convention Center in Greensboro.

Ms. Mullins has put many great initiatives into place and is a strong advocate and support structure for curriculum, instruction, and assessment programs and processes in our district, as well as throughout the state. We are proud to call her a member of the Newton-Conover family! Congratulations!
