Eyemart Express to Partner with Schools

Eyemart Express will be opening a Hickory location in mid-May and wants to partner with our schools to help both educators and students.  Their “Educator Discount Program” provides a 20% discount to any school employee who presents a school ID badge.  The discount is in addition to their already low prices including their 2-pair deals.  Most vision insurances are accepted and customers who use insurance will receive a free 2nd pair of glasses.    Another program offered by Eyemart supports economically disadvantaged students in our schools.  From Thanksgiving until Christmas, anyone who purchases a pair of glasses will be asked to provide the name of a School Nurse.  The School Nurse will receive a voucher to give to a student in need of a pair of glasses.  Last year, Eyemart provided over 2000 pairs of glasses for students in need.  Kids will have a great selection of frames from which to choose including character frames My Little Pony and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as well as Ray-Ban Tweens.

The Hickory location will have a Grand Opening late summer or early fall and will have great giveaways.  Be sure to watch the newspapers and mail circulars for information regarding this event.  The store will be located at 2264 US Highway 70SE in Hickory near Panera Bread.  For more information visit the Eyemart Express website.
