Christmas for the children golf tournament

With special thanks to the idea and initiation of a Newton-Conover student and her family, the tournament funds a collaboration of organizations committed to Newton-Conover families.

Our 2016 Christmas for the Children Golf Tournament raised $12,236 supporting Newton-Conover families through our district’s Kids in Need Fund, the Catawba County Backpack program, and Rock Barn’s Mens’ Golf League Thanksgiving dinners for needy families.

Additionally, each of the tournament’s 172 players donated a toy to the Conover Police Department’s toys for Kids Christmas Program.
