The Autistic Education Foundation would like to invite everyone to the 4th Annual Bash for Autism on August 19th! The Autistic Education Foundation is a non-profit corporation whose purpose is to provide funding and support to qualified educators via teacher grants for exceptional children’s programs and through institutions of higher learning to further teacher education and training of teachers of exceptional children. They are a 501c3 in good standing with a 100% volunteer staff. They also provide grants for teachers for classroom materials or other educational items to benefit students on the autism spectrum. They have been a huge asset to Newton-Conover and provided may classrooms with materials and supplies.
The event consists of a BBQ buffet with music and dancing provided by the Tony Eltora Band. They will again have a silent auction and raffle along with a cornhole tournament. The sponsors cover the costs of the event. All of the $20 ticket price goes to benefit exceptional children’s teachers and students. We graciously ask that you join us at this event. Tickets may be purchased at the Food Factory in Granite Falls, the Wood restaurant in Hickory, at the door the night of the event, or by contacting a member of the Board of Directors.
We hope to see you at the Fourth Annual BASH for Autism, to be held on August 19, 2017 from 6-10 pm at Warehouse 18 in Hickory. You can also Find us on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/BashForAutism/
