Discovery Theatre Students Take Home Major Awards

Newton-Conover High School’s Career Technology Education (CTE) hosted the first CTE Roadshow for North Newton Elementary’s 5th-grade students as part of their STEM Elective course. Duke Energy Presents at NCHS’s Learning Lunch

Newton-Conover High School in partnership with local businesses to provide lunch for students to hear about the possible career pathways associated with the sponsoring business. NCHS Foods II Visits PDQ

Newton-Conover High School students visit PDQ in Hickory to learn about the importance of fresh food, how to prep food using ServSafe protocols and opportunities for Internships/Co-Ops.  Students in Foods II will work towards obtaining their Manager’s ServSafe Certification, allowing them to have an advantage in the employment in the food industry.
