Conover School Wins Volunteer Award

On November 18, 2015 a group of students from Conover School were invited to attend the United Way’s Volunteer from the Heart Awards. They had been nominated by a member of Meals on Wheels for their contributions to that program. The students have been bundling cat and dog food for the Meals on Wheels recipients. J.T. Morissette, a senior in Rebecca Schaeffer’s classroom, won first place for Conover School in the Conover City art contest. A ceremony was held on Monday afternoon honoring students that won the contest for their school.
