Discovery Theatre Students Take Home Major Awards

Discovery to Perform Harvey in December

High School Drama Students Engaged in Crime Scene Role Play

High school drama students arrived to class to find a simulated crime scene earlier this week.   Each student was given a character card and was interviewed.  They had to answer questions as that character and interview others to solve the mystery. BT Spotlight: Christian Underwood – Elementary Drama Teacher

Christian Underwood is the Drama teacher for each of the elementary schools.  He is a graduate of Appalachian State University with a degree in Theatre Arts Education.   Previously he substitute taught for NCCS.  He also worked professionally for Bright Star Touring Theatre based out of Asheville, NC.  Through Bright Star, he toured the country performing shows for elementary students.   Read More »
