Lauren Elder is currently teaching at Shuford Elementary School in 3rd Grade. She recently graduated from Lenoir-Rhyne University with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. Our first grade team enjoyed their PBL trip to Food Lion. They were given a tour of the store from front to back. They showed them each department and told them the jobs of each department. Read Across America at Shuford

Read Across America week was a great success this year at Shuford Elementary. There were lots of fun activities every day of the week. Highlights of the week were guest readers, class partner reading, family reading night, and eating green eggs and ham. Shuford Gives Back to Community During Panther Nation Week

Shuford’s Student Council partnered with Woodlawn Baptist Church to collect items for Blessing Bags for the homeless.
