Shuford Spelling Champ Makes N-CCS Proud!

Congratulations to Phillip Nguyen, a fourth grade student in Mrs. Church’s class at Shuford Elementary School!  He did an amazing job of representing Shuford, and our district, at The Charlotte Observer Regional Spelling Bee on Monday, February 23rd.  Phillip made it to the 14th round, and he finished 9th out of 26 spellers in the region!  He did an awesome ... Recently, Shuford Elementary celebrated Unity Week.  This week brought awareness about bullying and emphasized the importance of being kind.  Shuford also had theme days and activities throughout the week.  Wednesday, January 21st, was Multi-Cultural Day.
